So as an amateur question but a question nonetheless, what would be a general time frame you would give for a 80 pg one shot such as metal souls or Ruthless Render. For my story goals im thinking I maybe better off outsourcing the panels and solely focus on doing cover art and story but I think it would be helpful to know what that process looks like in general as I game plan. My artist influence at the moment is more of a Atsushi Ohkubo personally and I plan on making a series of graphic novels as a kingdom action drama with an isekai twist ;)

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

I can say that throughout my life so far, art is definitely not one of my strongest subjects. However despite that, I love coming up with unique story ideas and create my own characters in some of my favorite series like Detective Conan, Jojo, and others. With that said, I want to create a memorable masterpiece along these lines with having black characters important for the series and show their greatness! I have loads of ideas that I want to get put into manga and just need the opportunity to get my art skills up to par with my ideas!

I find it kinda dumb that you didn't really draw your character in Oda's style, you tried to blend your character with Luffy specifically. Shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the art style in question. But whatever 😅 Also, yes. All attractive women in one piece are built very similarly.

One correction about there only being two eye shapes: let’s not forget about the android eyes, being sharper than the rounded eyes but rounder than the boxy eyes at some parts, it applies to many characters even aside from the actual androids

Revisiting this video, I gotta say the only thing I disagree with you is the reading direction convention. I get the context of why it is read from right to left but now that manga is published globally as its own category and format for everyone, who cares if the audience is Japanese or not and the format is read right to left? The rest are still solid, and the part about the setting of your plot and countries of origin of the authors was actually a good point considering not everyone is familiar with a certain culture. And even if you were fully familiarized with the foreign culture, showing these Japanese artists eager to see mangas made in a non-Asiatic setting really got me to think a lot. It's a helpful tip.

i am 13 and i love drawing and creating , i have a lot going on in my life right now and when i feel low the only thing i think of is drawing and thats when fell in love with art . So being a manga artist is a dream of mine , i want to use my talent to inspire and give people hope . Most people who love anime or manga are considered nerds or outcasts but i feel thats not true , so to prove those people wrong i want to become an artist to encourage those other artists all around that u can be anything even though noone believes in you
